Issue: No sound

Worklog:One of the EL34s is burned. 

The rings for the EL34’s are broken (they can still be used, just not like new)

One of the 12AX7s is burned.

Of all the parts not to have on hand.. the fuses.. went to Ace hardware to get some.

Once the fuse was installed, we put it on a variac and current limiter (basically a 200w lightbulb, so the amp cannot draw more than 1.7 amps), With no tubes, the amp started humming and overpowering the current limiter with 70 volts.  The humming was the weird part. Tracing back from the speaker, it goes to the output transformer (OT), then to the two power tubes.  We disconnected one end of the  OT, and the humming stopped, swapped leads, and it started again. The only thing really in the circuits are a pair of diodes each.  Took them out & checked, sure enough, bad.  Replaced them, put in some new matched EL34s and a known good 12AX7 (have all in stock), and it sounds good.
